Fishy are dead!!!

Ok, we came back from Tucson this past Monday and one of the fish was dead. Well his brother passed away this evening. We have come to the conclusion that the fish's water (water in bowl) was too cold.

Yes the fish are alive.
The tree is tall because it came from another bamboo shoot and we didn't cut it. The bamboo was a gift from Theryn and Zoetta for Zev when he was born.
Fish are still alive.
Curls seem to have disappeared. We got his hair cut before CA trip and he still had curls, but after we got back they really haven't shown up.

1) Why is the tree so tall?

On Friday we bought Zev two gold fish. We had been going to Petsmart and only looking, but decided to splurge and get two $.12 fish! What a splurge, although the $.12 fish live in a $12.00 bowl. So now we live with the fish and Zev goes bonkers and feeds them twice a day.
