Yes, Deven has graduated from preschool and will be entering kindergarten next year. Each of the three high school classes led the presc
hoolers in a song they sang together. One of the songs was "You are my Sunshine." Deven loves this song and we sing it at the house together. After the class sang the song, first verse only, Deven continued singing, all by his self, the second verse of the song. It was unplanned and completely adorable. He got a big round of applause when he was done. Grandma also taught him a new word that day. The word is "solo." Now when he tells people the story he tells them, I sang a solo. That means I sang by myself.
